I am Vicky Siquig. I was born in Michoacan, Mexico, a small village, and later moved to a city where I had the opportunity to go to school. I came to the United States in the 1980’s with a vision to help my family and also become successful. I knew that I had to work twice as hard and go to school and to learn English. I am the eldest of twelve and I also felt the need to help my parents and my younger siblings. Therefore, I had to build strength to face challenges and obstacles. In 1983, I met Ferdinand Siquig, my husband from the Philippines, and had Vanessa Siquig and Ferdinand Jr. Siquig. I thank my husband for his support of me opening my own business and has been pretty much supporting behind the scenes. Opening Las Bonitas Fashions has been an opportunity to prove myself as a woman, and a woman from another country, that anything is possible.
I welcome you to visit Las Bonitas Fashions that was established in 1999. For me establishing Las Bonitas Fashions for 20 years has not been an easy journey, but with my dedication and hard work, Las Bonitas Fashions has touched many families. I have had the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with my customers. For example, I have been providing children with dresses or suits and those children becoming adults returning to purchase dresses or suits for their own children. That’s when you realize that you have been around for quite some time and it is a great satisfaction for me.
I am always open to meeting new people and I am more than happy to help you with your special day. I thank all my loyal customers and for all those referrals that keeps me going.
Thank you so much for your business,
I am Vanessa Siquig, Vicky’s daughter. My father always tells me that he took my mother to LA when she was pregnant with me to buy baby dresses so that she can sell them at the flea market in San Jose. The very first day she sold at the flea market, she sold all the baby dresses. There is no doubt that I was born to work with my mother we both share the same passion for our customers. We both do what we love and know that the rest will follow. With my passion, with my educational background and with the people I have connected to help facilitate our customers, I am proud to say that you will be working with responsible and a committed team.
I graduated from California State University, East Bay with a major in Business Administration. At Cal State East Bay I also had the opportunity to take an Event Planning course. Las Bonitas Fashions has been part of my life since I was twelve years old. We are simple, friendly and caring of our customers. This is what differentiates us from the rest of the businesses. I am eager to meet new faces and continue to grow customer relationships.
